BAND INSTRUCTOR - Mr. Keith Gnagey

When students enter the 5th grade, they are given the opportunity to learn one of several band instruments.  They choose one instrument from either the woodwind, brass, or percussion families.  Students are given 30 to 45 minute lessons once per week and join together with all the instruments for a weekly practice to prepare for two concerts.   We perform a winter concert in December, and a spring concert in late April or early May.  The band is a great chance for students to learn dedication, discipline, and to have fun by taking part in music.
